Have you seen our parents discussing over how a relative gave them a certain gift for some function, and how they need to reciprocate it back in some form or another? Even though a relative's gift was shit…
ISKCON Foundation beautifully took this law and built 381 centers across the USA, how?
They tried collecting funds for building the temple by selling the Bhagwad Gita directly to strangers, but it didn't work well.
They understood how overpowering the law of reciprocality is, and introduced that in their sales technique. Now, instead of directly selling they would first give a rose to a random stranger for free, the stranger now feels obliged that he needs to do something in exchange.
And that's when the ISKCON person would offer the person to buy Bhagwad Gita. Amazing, right?
This rule applies literally everywhere. From agency, to content you name it.
Now, I want you to use this in your sales pitch. HOW?
So, the best way is to make the client obliged at the very start with anything free that you can offer them, right then and there on demo. This way throughout the call they are obliged to listen and reciprocate you in some way or another.
